We’re thrilled to announce that Mark Slaughter will be appearing as a special guest at the Nashville Rock n Pod Expo this Saturday August 26, 2017 at Music Valley Event Center in Nashville, TN.

Mark, the front man for multi-platinum rock group Slaughter, hails from Las Vegas. An early stint in the Vegas-based band Xcursion led to a job as the vocalist for the Vinnie Vincent Invasion. Taking over vocal duties from debut-album singer Robert Fleischman for the tour cycle to support the album, Slaughter impressed crowds all over North America. The sophomore album by the Invasion would have Mark taking center stage on All Systems Go. The singles ‘That Time of Year’, ‘Ashes to Ashes’, and ‘Love Kills’ earned Mark respect throughout the industry. The Vinnie Vincent Invasion came to an end and Mark and bassist Dana Strum were optioned by Chrysalis Records for a new project. Slaughter was born.

The debut album by Slaughter, ‘Stick It to Ya’ broke out quickly on the strength of lead single ‘Up All Night.’ Other singles including ‘Spend My Life’ and ‘Fly to the Angels’ would push Slaughter to multi-platinum status. Five studio albums and two live albums later, Slaughter continues to tour regularly.

Mark released his second solo album in 2017. Halfway There, released on EMP Label Group, has earned high praise throughout the musical community.

Mark will be in attendance this Saturday to record episodes with Talking Metal (2:00), Podcast Rock City (3:00) as well as being part of a joint signing session with heavy metal legends Raven at Booth A.
