Local Nashville rock fixtures, Thee Rock ‘n Roll Residency will kick off the festivities for ROCKNPOD weekend with a Preparty concert set to get everyone in the mood for a great rock-themed weekend! Thee Rock n’ Roll Residency, started by Philip Shouse and Jeremy Asbrock along with Ryan Cook, have become a celebrated part of Nashville’s music scene. Their regular cover sets featuring a who’s-who of rock royalty popping in to do guest spots has gained attention across the globe.

Notable rock luminaries that have sat in with Thee Residency include Roger Glover and Don Airey of Deep Purple, Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, and Gene Simmons of KISS. And speaking of the Hottest Band in the Land, Philip, Jeremy and Ryan are seen worldwide backing either Mr. Simmons or guitar-God Ace Frehley on solo dates. Numerous ROCKNPOD Expo guests will be joining Thee Rock n’ Roll Residency on stage at the preparty so there are sure to be some historical performances!
